Breaking it down with Badhorse
We had a lot of fun with Badhorse last week. I want to take a minute and thank everyone. It was a long, hot day. Thanks to Danny and Linzy, Wes and Neely, John, Josh, Kanani, Terry, Jacob, and, of course, Allen. Also, I want to thank Corey, one of the guys who helps manage 10,000 acres of the beautiful place that makes up Callaway Gardens. We shot this show at such a cool location using an octagon shaped barn that was built in 1830 by Cason Callaway and used for storing grain. At the time it was built it was state of the art with an elevator in the middle used to lift the grain to the second floor to sort out and store. ( I love history, and Corey would probably be proud I remembered!) As we were filming the show, I couldn’t help but think of the folks that walked that property; working and farming all around us. It was a great place to hang out with “Badhorse”, get to know them and break down a song. They are a true, authentic, southern rock group that will carve out their own place in history. |
